What kind of services do you offer?
Formal speech – language services are offered based on the results of the assessment and the goals/objectives presented. During treatment there will be frequent follow up with parents to ensure progress is being seen at home and progress notes will be provided on a regular basis (typically every 10 weeks).
Do you provide parental training?
Parent involvement and training is an integral aspect of successful speech – language therapy. Parents will be trained and provided with “speech homework” to do at home with their little one. This will ensure carry – over of progress and will help establish new speech – language behaviors and skills.
My child has already been assessed at his local public school and has goals/objectives in his Individualized Education Plan (IEP). I just want extra services at home to continue working on his current goals. Do you provide that service?
If your child already has an IEP and all you want is additional supportive services at home, we can provide that service for you. All we would need is a copy of the goals that your child is working on at school and we will work on those same goals in the home.
